Those are just the kinds of issues that incite hatred and intolerance. Not every Muslim is a terrorist, not every Muslim belongs to Al Queda, I wonder how many people have actually taken the time to read anything from the Quran? I'm not Muslim, Clearly those who re-published the picture knew this was going to ellicit a lot of controversy, but that was the whole point! However I'm sure they did not expect the reaction we have seen in the past few days....Very sad....

Things I do not get:
1) These cartoon were published in November, but not found to be offensive until late January.
2) These cartoons have been the justification of riots in which property (including embassies, and churches) has been destroyed, and people have died.
3) Martin Scorsese made a film (The Last Temptation of Christ) which infuriated many Christians, yet not a single building was burned and no one died as the result.
